I find that after I have read a book and it has been released on to our screens it is customary for me to be critical about the final product. I just feel like they have not been able to represent the authors’ great work, does this mean that some books should stay just as books or that the movie makers were not able to depict their great work as anticipated.
Yes, there are many books that when adapted to the movies have delivered and a great example is One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest . But there are also those that flopped eg The Girl On The Train – it was a disappointment after being such a hit with the readers.
It must be heart-breaking to some authors that their work was not well represented . But I know the they will not lose their fans.
